OUR MEMBERSHIP LEVELS We have a choice of four levels of membership which you can join us on. Each membership type lasts for one year. The difference between them is essentially how often you receive a mailing of profiles from us. Some levels of membership have more benefits than others and it's best to pick the level of membership that is best for you and your unique situation and circumstances. Read on to fully understand the difference between each level. Our membership levels are called: Platinum Gold Silver Bronze Platinum membership On the Platinum membership you will receive 12 mailings of profiles during your membership year - i.e you will get a mailing of profiles from us every month. We consider this to be our best and most effective membership because: you receive profiles every month you are firmly in the driving seat with the ability to be very proactive you will receive the details of everyone on our books who is the age you've requested* feedback from previous members tells us that when you get a list of profiles monthly you are more likely to contact more of the people we send you throughout the year. As a result your membership is likely to be successful. Gold membership On the Gold membership you will receive 6 mailings of profiles from us during your membership year - i.e you will get a mailing of profiles from us every two months.  This is a great membership as it means you have slightly longer after each profile mailing to get in touch with all the people we send you. However it's not quite as good as the Platinum membership for the following reason. You'll receive almost everyone on our books during your profile year, but there will be a few people you won't receive. This is because you'll get your last mailing of profiles from us in month 11 of your membership. At that point you'll still have another 4 weeks of membership left in which lots of people will be joining us, but because you don't get a profile mailing in month 12 you won't receive their details. However these people will get your details (which are sent out every month) - but you will be dependent on them contacting you rather than you being able to initiate contact with them.

Silver membership

On the Silver membership you will receive 4 mailings of profiles during your membership year - i.e you will get a mailing of profiles from us every 3 months. The benefits of this membership are:

• you have more time between receiving each mailing to contact the people we send you
• if you haven't got a lot of time and don't want to devote time every month to receiving profiles and contacting people we send you, then you can spread it out over a longer interval

However there are some disadvantages:

• you won't receive people's details as soon as they join. For example if you join in June you'll get your first mailing of profiles at the beginning of July and the next mailing in October. You won't get the details of anyone who joins in July, August or September until your mailing in October.
• you won't receive details of everyone on our books because our last mailing of profiles to you will come in your month 10. At that point you'll still have another 8 weeks of membership left in which lots of people will be joining us, but because you don't get a profile mailing in month 11 or 12 you won't receive their details. However people who join us in those months will get your details but you will be dependent on them contacting you rather than you being able to initiate contact with them.

Bronze membership

On the Bronze membership you receive 2 mailings of profiles during your membership year (each mailing contains many profiles). You get your first mailing straight away and then your second mailing six months later. This is our entry level membership in that it's the cheapest we offer.

Although it's a good membership, we don't strongly recommend it for the following reasons:

• You will get alot of profiles in each mailing and with more choice, you are likely to be more 'selective'. You may think this is a good thing, but in fact you will undoubtedly miss someone who might be just perfect for you.
• Although you'll receive loads of profiles, you will actually only get the details of about half the people on our books. This is because your second (and final) mailing of profiles will be sent to you in your month 7. At that point you'll still have another 6 months of membership left in which lots of people will be joining us, but because you don't get a profile mailing in month 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 you won't receive their details. People who join us in those months will get your details but you will be dependent on them contacting you rather than you being able to initiate contact with them. You can rely on chance on them contacting you but it's much better to be in the driving seat yourself!

Whatever level you join on, your profile will be sent out to other members every single month.

The four different levels of membership are priced differently as follows:

• Platinum - £360
• Gold - £310
• Silver - £260
• Bronze - £210

* We match profiles on age - but there must be a match both ways. So if a man who is 48 requests the details of ladies aged 38 to 58, we'll only send him details of 38 year olds if they have specified they want to meet someone who is 48. This is one of the reasons we recommend all members to make their age specifications as wide as possible.
