Your job and your Christian faith

I had one of the most boring jobs in the world and dreaded going to work every day. This set me searching for some meaning in life and I found what I was looking for in Jesus. From that moment everything seemed to change although nothing had actually changed except my heart. I still had the boring job but there was a purpose to it and everyday I would wake and ask what God had in store for me that day. Meaning can make pain and exertion, tedium and sorrow not only bearable but even exhilerating. Has anyone else suddenly found this sort of purpose come into their life thanks to finding Jesus, such that they can now cope with all the dreary things that we have to do on a daily basis?

Yes I totally agree. I found everything changed when I became a Christian. I found new meaning to my life and I also found reading the Bible gives me a fascinating insight on our lives. I also found a whole bunch of new Christian friends and I would say that although I love all my other friends dearly, my Christian friendship are somehow different.
