When is the right time to ask to meet someone for the first time

The main reason why I never met someone who I be writing to is because I do not know how long after the first letter email text or phone call should I ask to meet them. I like to take my time about asking to meet but I know some people like things to move quicker than me

Hi i would think that 2-3 weeks should be enough time for you to have a feel of whether you want to meet this person or not any longer and they may well lose interest.:)

Yes, I agree with that, I've found that you can build up a false impression of someone just by texting and emailing, and the reality when you eventually meet them after 2 or 3 months is very disappointing! Don't leave it too long to meet up, but I would stress always meet in a public place and tell someone where you're going so you can be safe. Fran
