First Dates

Have you watched Channel Four’s TV programme called FIRST DATES?

It’s such a great idea that we thought we’d offer a similar First Dates experience for single Christians.

This is an opportunity for you to be personally matched with another Christian and it’s open to anyone who has a Christian faith who is hoping to meet a soul mate. ( You don’t have to be a member of friends1st but you do have to be a single Christian!)

Here’s how it works: You tell us you want to be involved. Then we’ll search for a suitable match for you. When we find a match for you, we’ll confirm your attendance at the restaurant we’ve teamed up with.  You will then have a meal together.

Our second event is being held on 9th June 2018 in London.

When you arrive at the restaurant one of our team will be on hand to welcome you with a drink, calm any nerves you might have, introduce you to your date, and give you any needed last minute advice. After that the time is your own.  Between you and your date, you’ll pick up the tab for your meal and any drinks you have, and decide whether you want to take your first date further.

We’ll be matching people together using all the skills and experience we have to make your date really great (but like the TV show there won’t be any guarantees!)

This is a great opportunity to:

  • meet someone new – possibly a potential soul mate,
  • experience going on a date,
  • practice your social and dating skills,
  • build your confidence and
  • have a fun meal out and hopefully meet up with your date again

There’s everything to gain and very little to lose.

If you apply to participate we’ll expect you to keep the 9th June free in your diary for your lunchtime or evening date.

There is a small fee of £49 to participate, and you should read our Terms and Conditions before you apply.
