The information we have about you

The information you provide us with for the purposes of the CRE speed dating event will only be used by friendsfirst and CRE. The only information about you that will be disclosed to other people attending the speed dating event is your Christian name and email address if, and only if, you have selected a specific person as someone you would like to be in contact with again after the event. You will remain in complete control of this at all times.

Disclosure of your personal details to third parties

Your address is used solely and purely for our purposes and will not be given out to other attendees at the event, nor will it be given to any third party.

If, in the unusual event that we have cause for concern about you or your interaction with any one else you have met through our speed dating event, it may be necessary for us to disclose information about you to statutory authorities and we are at liberty to do this – although it will be done with your knowledge. We may also disclose personal information about you if required to do so by law.

Future contact with you

As someone who has registered or attended a friendsfirst event you may receive mailings from us from time to time. These are always sent in plain white envelopes and there is nothing on the envelope to show that it comes from friendsfirst. We respect your privacy.

Telephone calls to you from the friendsfirst office

Should we need  to contact you, we will only say it is friendsfirst calling when we are speaking to you personally. If we are speaking to anyone else in your household we will not disclose that it is friendsfirst calling. We respect the confidence that you have put in us to be discrete.
