Graham begins… Being a widower and extremely lonely, my attention was drawn to an article in a Christian magazine about a lady who had found a companion through friendsfirst. It gave me hope that maybe I, too, might meet somebody for friendship to begin with, and who knows, God willing, possibly even a wife. Well my prayers were answered. Helen and I met and we soon grew to love each other and eventually marry. Thank you friendsfirst for introducing me to someone that I might otherwise have never met – my soul-mate.
Helen continues…. I had been alone for eight years. Loneliness hurts! I asked God to give me the grace to cope with my singleness. He didn't! After seeing the advert for friendsfirst in a Christian magazine I decided to join, and within a matter of weeks I met Graham (in May) and married in September of the same year (2001) I feel this is an excellent way to meet someone special. The last three years have been the happiest of my life.
