MEMBERS IN CAMBRIDGESHIRE

The population in Cambridgeshire is well spread out and as a result it can be harder to meet like minded Chrsitians in the course of every day life. We are always pleased to welcome members from this part of the country although sometimes they have to travel just a bit further than others to meet their soul mate. Peter's story below shows this but shows the benefit that came out of it.

Peter felt very unsure about joining a dating agency but realised that friendsfirst was rather different to the norm. He liked the idea of an offline organisation, it fitted his fairly shy and thoughtful character. He knew that it would take him a while to get to know someone well enough to feel really comfortable with them. He and Virginia exchanged many emails before they met up and felt they already knew each other when they did meet. Peter lives in Cambridge and was not at all concerned about travelling to Essex to meet up with Virginia. He will always feel so glad that he did – it was an effort worth making. They are now happily married and Peter feels he will continue to find out new things about his wife for years to come.
