Happy Easter and Welcome to friendsfirst's 10th newsletter.
In case you've missed our previous newsletters..... we are a Christian friendship organisation that assists single Christians to meet other single Christians for friendship and relationships. We offer an off line personalised one to one service that is very different from internet dating!
If you are single and deep down would like someone special in your life then read on for more information about our organisation.
If you are married or in a relationship, please forward this newsletter on to any single friends you have. Even if they haven't explicitly acknowledged it to you, they are probably looking for someone special too and getting our newsletter may be their first step to finding someone!

| Almost 100 people joined us for our 'Dating Doctor workshops' which we held just after Christmas. Our Dating Doctor proved so popular that we've now teamed up with him to offer a whole range of other services including cyber seminar's, dating weekends, dating safari's and one to one coaching.

Our two March spring socials - dinner in London at our favourite restaurant in Covent Garden, and lunch in Birmingham at a fabulous new venue we've recently found - went very well as you can read from the feedback we received. Both sold out very quickly as we had a very strict even sexes numbers policy - which worked really well. However it does prove that it pays to book early for our events - especially if you're a women. The same definately applies to our two holidays coming up in July and September this year which are open to non members as well as members of friendsfirst. Please don't leave it too late to book as they will sell out especially given the excellent value they are and the fact that not only is there NO single supplement, but even better, you can get a discount if you share a room. Don't forget - we're exhibiting at the Christian Resources Exhibition in 5 weeks time - 15th 18th May at Sandown Race Course in Esher near London. Nearly half of all our members now have photographs included in their profiles. And guess what........ we have a really great looking bunch of members. In fact so much so that it was a hot topic of conversation this month when we sent out all our matches to members.
There's no doubt that dating without a photograph nowadays is difficult (although obviously not impossible). But if you are thinking of joining friendsfirst and you want to include a photograph, then do put some effort into getting a good one done.
We came across an internet dating site the other day called ge t2getheronline.co.uk and were really surprised by the photo's used by the people online. Take a look and I'm sure you'll agree they aren't exactly enticing. But I can assure you, you'll really want to contact the people from friendsfirst when you see their photographs in their profiles. |

We've recently had someone join us who'd been reading our newsletter for ages but had never been able to pluck up the courage to call us.
